May 2013 Reading Challenge Results

May has been really busy for me with a new redesign of the blog and working on a new blog altogether. I have also been so sick for at least a week now running fever for 7 days straight so I apologize for the more sporadic posts and comments this week.

2013 Paranormal Reading Challenge

The Paranormal Reading Challenge is hosted by Megan Likes Books and Auntie Spinelli Reads!

Each month, they will be featuring one of the creatures on the list at both Megan Likes Books and Auntie Spinelli Reads.

May - Aliens

Clutch (I am Just Junco #1) by J.A. Huss
Scarlet (Lunar Chronicles #2) by Marissa Meyer

June is zombie month so I have World War Z to read - borrowed from a friend at work and will also be getting Warm Bodies.

Read details and see my results of previous months here

2013 Sequel Reading Challenge

This is another one hosted by Auntie Spinelli Reads. It is a challenge that includes all books after the first one in a series.

The goal: To read as many sequels as you can. You set your goal at whatever number works for you.

  1. This is graet! I need to plan to participate in some challenges like this... Do you think it's too late to start now? I could maybe do the sequel challenge... there are quite a few of those :)

I hope you're feeling better, Jaclyn, and that you'll be in good health again very soon.

    *hugs*

  2. Once again, you're WAY ahead of me on reading challenges! Kudos to you!!

I'm very sorry to hear you've been so sick though. A fever for 7 days doesn't sound good. Not to sound like a mom ;) but have you been to the doc? I hope you're on the mend SOON! I'm sending you wishes for good health. :)

  4. I haven't yet figured out what I'm going to read for a zombie book this month. Zombies aren't my favorite paranormal creatures, so I think I'm only going to aim for one book. My cousin, who loves everything zombie-related, recommended The Forest of Hands and Teeth, and I may just go with that.

I hope you feel much better soon, Jaclyn! :)

  10. Zombies have never been a big read of mine either. A friend of mine from work that doesn't really like reading loves World War Z so I figured I better give it a try and Warm Bodies has gotten a lot of good reviews - Jennifer Bielman has a great one for it. The Forest of Hands and Teeth sounds really good though so I think your pick is a good one. Thank you so much!!!

I love comments and read every one of them! Since they are an award in themselves, this is an award-free blog. Thank you though for the consideration!
