This week's question is: Activity! Who do you want to be? If you could choose any character from a book. What do you think that character looks like and what do you have in common?

MY ANSWER: This one was so difficult because even though it seems like it would be grand to be one of the characters in the book, I remembered all the angst that they had to go through. In the end, I actually chose a minor character that served as a point of inspiration and love.

Arwen Undómiel

My reasons: Besides the fact that she is a gorgeous magical elf and she has the love of Aragorn, she is part of an epic story and brings the Fellowship much help in their quest from her faraway minor role. It was easy to go with what she looks like because I have movie references for this one, and I adore Liv Tyler. I'm not sure what we have in common other than knowing that love really is the most important thing.

Quotes from the movie:

"What's this? A Ranger caught off his guard?"

"If you want him, come and claim him!"

What about you?

Arwen= fantastic choice! (She's one of mine, too, as you noted.) Love the quotes from Fellowship. I love her entrance in the movie and the magic of her character-- she couldn't more obviously be an elf if she had the word written across her forehead, haha. Following you back via GFC!

  8. Ah...Arwen. She was so mysterious and cool and well elf-like. In a fantasy world I would probably have gone with someone from the Dragonlance series, I always like Kit - even though she was bad. Happy Friday! And thanks for Hopping! XOXO - Parajunkee

  10. Thanks for the follow, favor returned!

Arwen is a great choice, and Liv is lovely! Eowyn would be great too - one of my favorite scenes in the third movie is when she tells the Witch King that she's no man and slays him!

If I had my druthers, I would have taken Boromir, too bad he died in the first movie lol

    Have a great weekend!

  11. Amazing choice! I love Lord of the Rings so Arwen is a great choice. I love that she chooses Aragorn over an immortal life filled with emptiness without love. Liv Tyler will always be Arwen, she played her perfectly!
