Goodreads Summary
Cinder returns in the second thrilling installment of the New York Times-bestselling Lunar Chronicles. She’s trying to break out of prison—even though if she succeeds, she’ll be the Commonwealth’s most wanted fugitive.
Halfway around the world, Scarlet Benoit’s grandmother is missing. It turns out there are many things Scarlet doesn’t know about her grandmother and the grave danger she has lived in her whole life. When Scarlet encounters Wolf, a street fighter who may have information as to her grandmother’s whereabouts, she has no choice but to trust him, though he clearly has a few dark secrets of his own.
As Scarlet and Wolf work to unravel one mystery, they find another when they cross paths with Cinder. Together, they must stay one step ahead of the vicious Lunar Queen who will do anything to make Prince Kai her husband, her king, her prisoner.

ReplyDeleteI have Cinder in my TBR for this month, so hopefully I'll be ready when Scarlet comes out. I'll really like fairytale retelling. Great pick!
ReplyDeleteI love a good fairytale retelling too! Thank you for stopping by :)
ReplyDeleteI should finally read Cinder. Feels like I'm the only person in the blogosphere who is missing out on the faboulesness :) Thanks for stopping by my WoW!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! I feel like that with a bunch of other series :D
ReplyDeleteI was drawn by the Red Riding Hood type cape and the character named Wolf but after reading the blurb I'm still not entirely sure if there's werewolves in it. Would you happen to know?
ReplyDeleteI don't believe there are werewolves in it. I haven't read it yet, but based on the first book and the world that was created there (cyborgs and aliens) it was more characters having similarities to the counterparts in the fairy tale, but an entirely new take on it. I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of supernatural power of some sort, but I don't think there will be werewolves.
ReplyDeleteOh this looks good. And I love that cover! So secretive in it's feel. :) Hope you get and love it as much as the first. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) I am really looking forward to this one coming out. I appreciate you stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard the first book in this series but it sounds interesting!!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and thanks for stopping by my WOW!
I really enjoyed Cinder when I read it. Thank you for stopping by - Happy Reading :)
ReplyDeleteSo I only thought Cinder was okay but I am interested to see what happens next.
ReplyDeleteCinder does seem to be hit-or-miss for the readers. I think that what made me love it, may actually be what turns other readers off.
