Most Anticipated Moment

I know that the final battle with Voldemort was something I look forward to through the series, but on the flip side I was also dreading it because I knew that meant the end would be here.

The Harry and Ginny moment after the Quidditch game which came at an unexpected time, was the one I was anticipating a lot. Harry had been thinking about her so much that I was just ready for him to get his happy moment. He went through so much that it was nice to see him caring about being a normal teenager for a little bit.

I know the movie portrays their relationship differently which upsets me so much. Everything about Ginny was way better in the books.

What was your most anticipated moment?

  1. I went with a different moment this week but I mentioned this as well^^ The book relationship between Harry and Ginny was perfection. I will NEVER stop being upset about how they changed it in the films *sob* But yeah, in the books it was the best. Harry couldn't stop thinking about her and he didn't even know why at first it was so funny to see how he gets there. And their kiss in front of everyone in the Common Room was beautiful ♥ Awesome pick Jaclyn :D

  3. I always felt like there was more to Ginny. I need to read the books to see her I guess.

  4. def agree and it's why I way prefer the books (could any real true HP head prefer the movies?) I think my most anticipated was Ron and Hermione's kiss! talk about a tense moment to do that for the first time lol

  6. Definitely! The part where he's listing what he smells from the amortentia was great for readers but so oblivious to him. I was so thrilled to see it play out.

  7. AH her character is 1000x better in the books. She's a force to be reckoned with in the later ones and I loved her. Movie Ginny just isn't anything special. Plus, their whole relationship is weird to me in the movies since it appears out of thin air.

  8. True!! I agree with Ron and Hermione too because that one had been boiling for even longer. I kept thinking we'd see it through each book so by the time the last one rolled around I was absolutely thinking it better happen now...this can't all be for nothing.
