Harry Potter Moment of the Week [19] - Favorite Part in Book 7

This is a meme hosted by Uncorked Thoughts. The aim of this meme is to share with fellow bloggers a character, spell, chapter, object or quote from the books/ films/ J. K. Rowling herself or anything Potter related! She is picking a topic within HP for us to focus on each week and then if anyone wants to take part feel free! All she asks is to link back to her blog :). There is now a full list of the topics to come here.

Favorite Part in Book 7

There are a lot of great things about book 7 in general, but most of my favorite parts revolved around McGonagall. She really shines in this one. Out of all the moments, I'm choosing when she used Piertotum Locamotor. The image in my head of all the statues and suits of armor around the school leaping to life to protect the school was amazing. Getting to see it on the big screen was even more spectacular. I LOVED it when they put in the movie, "I've always wanted to use that spell."

  3. How did I not think of this one?!? Such a brilliant moment and it's so funny as well! I love that McGonagall is just like 'The headmaster is taking a little break' after he flew out the window LOL. She is one of my absolute favourites. Great pick!

  7. Oh my goodness, I loved her standing up to Snape and getting Harry to where he needed to be. Saying that spell, was the highlight. I adored seeing that on the big screen :D

  8. Holy cow you guys are gonna love it! Zane's on the 6th book right now and with each one he gets more and more excited and loves the series even more. I did finally get to finish Undead Pool. I'll have the review up soon :D I also just started Alice in Zombieland which so far has been soooo good.

  9. Yes! I loved that too. She's so fantastic. Her complete part in this one being one of the adults that they could all turn to and trust was amazing. I HATED it when she was gone in the 5th one and made me disgusted by Umbridge even more.

  11. Oh my gosh hahaha I agree. McGonagall was totally bad ass in this one. One of my favorite scenes (in the book) is when Hermione and Ron kissed. It was like... Finally!

I love comments and read every one of them! Since they are an award in themselves, this is an award-free blog. Thank you though for the consideration!
