When life's kicking your butt...how about a theme song? [15]

My friend Robyn from robgirlbooks tasked us with coming up with a theme song each month, and I love it! Music is a VERY big part of my life. This month is The Perfect Song for That Book.

I have chosen 'Can't Help Falling in Love' by Ingrid Michaelson for Jace in The Mortal Instruments. Every time I hear this song, it makes me think of his struggle.

I know I can't be the only one who thinks of Katniss when this song comes on:

Matt's pick - He said this one makes him want to watch or read Perks of Being a Wallflower.:

What is your choice this month??

  2. Oh, I have that "I'll be ok" album. What a great song. I haven't read The Mortal Instruments, but of course I saw the movie. We chatted about it ages ago. I know I have to get on it already. You're right about the Girl on Fire song. I wonder if people randomly sing that to her.

I love that song from Wallflower. That movie rocked the planet I loved it so much. I haven't read the book yet.

    Great picks Jaclyn and Matt!!

  6. I haven't read Perks of Being a Wallflower either, but I did see the movie also. It's not really my genre for a read, but I enjoyed the movie a lot.

  7. I did too! I looked at Zane and said, "this must be on the new soundtrack for Catching Fire."

I love comments and read every one of them! Since they are an award in themselves, this is an award-free blog. Thank you though for the consideration!
