January Reading Challenge 2013 Results

The Paranormal Reading Challenge is hosted by Megan Likes Books and Auntie Spinelli Reads!

Each month, they will be featuring one of the creatures on the list at both Megan Likes Books and Auntie Spinelli Reads.

January was vampires, and I read 5 books that fit with this challenge:

January - Vampires
Soul Walker (A Touched Girl Novel) by Robyn Jones
The Good, The Bad, and The Undead (Hollows #2) By Kim Harrison
Every Which Way but Dead (Hollows #3) By Kim Harrison
A Fistful of Charms (Hollows #4) By Kim Harrison
Ever After (Hollows #11) By Kim Harrison

February is angels/nephilium and this one will be harder since I am pressed for time. I will probably only get 1 or 2 books with angels in this month.

Read details and join in on the fun here

2013 Sequel Reading Challenge

This is another one hosted by Auntie Spinelli Reads. It is a challenge that includes all books after the first one in a series.

The goal: To read as many sequels as you can. You set your goal at whatever number works for you.

My sequel goal will be 25 for the year~

In January:

The Good, The Bad, and The Undead (Hollows #2) By Kim Harrison
Every Which Way but Dead (Hollows #3) By Kim Harrison
A Fistful of Charms (Hollows #4) By Kim Harrison
Ever After (Hollows #11) By Kim Harrison
The Iron Daughter (The Iron Fey #2) By Julie Kagawa

  4. Wow, I only read one for vampire month, I don't know if the other books I'm reading for February will count towards angels.

  5. It's only required to do one. I got lucky because I was doing a re-read of all The Hollows in anticipation of the new one that came out in January :)

  6. I didn't even know about this challenge, it's really great, and I'll go and check it out on auntiespinelli's blog right now.
I didn't read any vampire books in January, so it was kind of good that I didn't know about it then, but I am reading my 2nd angel book in February right now - might as well sign up, right?
    Have a wonderful week Jaclyn!

  8. Awesome challenges. I love the paranormal one. I could get that done no problem since that's all I read. hehe

  9. That's was exactly my thinking :) I think I can handle 25 sequels in the year too because I will have to read Scarlet, the rest in the Iron Fey, any new Lux, the rest of Kate Daniels, etc.

I love comments and read every one of them! Since they are an award in themselves, this is an award-free blog. Thank you though for the consideration!
